Візантійська спадщина більша, ніж сама лише Греція. Протягом понад 1100 років (330–1453) Імперія пропонувала світові взірець співіснування різних народів, мов та вірувань. Вона простягалася від України та Херсонеса до Єгипту і навіть далі, об'єднуючи землі Європи, Азії та Африки. Її цивілізація була римською за ідентичністю, грецькою за мовою та універсальною за духом. 

У розколотому світі Візантія нагадує нам, що різноманітність не обов'язково означає розділення. У ці важкі часи ми повинні спробувати заново відкрити наш власний внутрішній Константинополь — місце віри, мудрості та миру.

The Byzantine legacy is greater than Greece alone. For more than 1,100 years (330–1453), the Empire offered the world a model of coexistence among different peoples, languages, and faiths. It stretched from Ukraine and Chersonesus to Egypt and even beyond, uniting lands across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Its civilization was Roman in identity, Greek in language, and universal in spirit. 

In a fractured world, Byzantium reminds us that diversity does not have to mean division. In these difficult times, we must try to rediscover our own inner Constantinople — a place of faith, wisdom, and peace.

L’héritage byzantin dépasse largement la Grèce seule. Pendant plus de 1 100 ans (330–1453), l’Empire a offert au monde un exemple de coexistence entre peuples, langues et religions. Il s’étendait de l’Ukraine et de Chersonèse jusqu’à l’Égypte, et même au-delà, reliant l’Europe, l’Asie et l’Afrique. Sa civilisation était romaine par identité, grecque par langue et universelle par esprit. 

Dans un monde fragmenté, Byzance nous rappelle que la diversité ne signifie pas division. En ces temps difficiles, nous devons chercher à retrouver notre Constantinople intérieure — un lieu de foi, de sagesse et de paix.
